Makes approx. 16 balls.

1 cup dried dates, pitted (or you can use 1/2 cup dates and 1/2 cup dried figs)

1 cup almonds

1/2 cup sesame seeds

4 Tbsp tahini

1/2 cup desiccated coconut (toasted coconut would be OK)

1/2 cup almond meal

3 Tbsp organic coconut syrup (or use agave syrup or something similar)

Process the pitted dates, almonds, sesame seeds and tahini in a food processor high powered blender until mixture forms a paste. Add the coconut, almond meal and coconut syrup and mix well.

(Tip: If you don’t have a processor, simply chop the dates and nuts before adding all other ingredients and then you can process by hand by squeezing all ingredients together in your fingers.)

Once made, take about a tablespoon of mixture and roll in your hands until it forms a round ball. Done!

Store Moose Balls in airtight container in fridge.
