This is an easy snack once you have made the main ingredients. The good thing is that the ingredients can be refrigerated for quite a long period and used in a range of different ways.

Ingredients:

A batch of beetroot dipping sauce as per our recipe

Two slices of Hallas bread, cut into pieces once it has cooled (or a wholegrain bread you have in the freezer)

1/2 avocado

1 cup of rocket or romaine lettuce

Method:

Simply place the rocket or lettuce on the bread and spread the avocado over the top. Then add the beetroot sauce onto the top and serve with a fresh piece of fruit.
